Collaboration/Environmental Scan/Needs Assessment

  • Session feedback and ongoing needs assessment.
  • ERLC board.
  • District contacts continue to provide input.
  • Consultation with key Alberta Education Lead Managers and Directors.

Practice/Goals

  • AB Education grant deliverables and direction relates to wellness.
  • Regional Goals specific to work of ERLC (i.e. Program of Studies, Instruction and Assessment).

Identify Possible Strategies

  • Ever Active programs related to assessment and differentiated instruction will be offered to provide some service in this area.
  • Executive Director represent ARPDC on Ever active schools advisory committee.
  • Executive Director provide support as requested to Alberta Education manager(s).

Action Plan and Measures

  • Use program feedback form as primary measure.
  • Sessions are attended.

Implement Action Plan

  • Budget - No funds allocated at this time infrastructure support provided from grant.

Summative Evaluation

  • Program feedback.
  • ERLC Board, District contact, and potential Advisory Committee feedback.
  • Summary report to Alberta Education.

  • Impetus / need for PD based on ministry initiatives.  As framework was not released limited programs provided.
  • Exploration (with EverActive Committee) of programs to offer to stimulate interest and support need.
