 ERLC plan to support implementation based on regional needs and grant deliverables

Collaboration/Environmental Scan/Needs Assessment

  • Session feedback and ongoing needs assessment.
  • ERLC board.
  • Consult with districts about needs.
  • ERLC advisory committee consultation needs to occur.
  • Consultation with key Alberta Education Lead Managers and Directors a minimum of twice during the year.

Practice/Goals

  • Alberta Education grant deliverables.
  • Key program elements.
  • Regional Goals specific to work of ERLC (i.e. Program of Studies, Instruction and Assessment).

Identify Possible Strategies

  • Workshops, delivery using dl approaches.
  • Need to host an advisory committee meeting to better identify needs and resources available.
  • Social and Math sessions are being planned for 2009.

Action Plan and Measures

  • Use program feedback form as primary measure.
  • Sessions are attended.

Implement Action Plan

  • Budget - $35,000.00 as well as infrastructure support provided from grant.

Summative Evaluation

  • Program feedback.
  • ERLC Board, District contact, and potential Advisory Committee feedback.
  • Summary report to Alberta Education.

  • Audience includes specialized K & E teachers as well as teachers that have K & E students integrating in regular class...PD needs different.
  • Need to host a regional advisory committee to better understand needs.
