
Adelee Penner comes to ERLC having most recently served as an Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Adelee started her career in Manitoba and moved to Alberta in 2005. Her career has evolved over the years through working in several school jurisdictions, in both the private and public system, and from working for Alberta Education supporting school systems in Field Services. Adelee is a passionate lifelong learner. Using the provocation from Seth Godin, "When was the last time you did something for the first time?", Adelee works with others to create a culture for learning that is comfortable taking risk, trying new things and considers alternate perspectives.
David Knechtel, MScOT, RTC,has devoted his career as an occupational therapist and counselling therapist to working with children and adolescents and building capacity in the adults who support them. He has worked as a school consultant in both pre-kindergarten, elementary & junior high school settings and has worked with families in home and clinical settings. In his current role as an Educator with Alberta Health Services, David develops and facilitates mental health education sessions for caregivers & professionals and leads groups for parents and youth. David enjoys supporting mental health literacy and wellness in individuals, organizations and his community.
Renata Logan, is a Registered Psychologist who has been serving individuals, couples and families of the Edmonton area for the past 15 years. She has a M.Sc. in Marital & Family Therapy and bases much of her work in a holistic frame - believing that the source for healing or lasting change is rooted in the mind-body-spirit triad, as well as the family-community connection. Her intention as an Educator with Albert Health Services and a psychotherapist is to assist persons of all ages and histories in finding a pathway towards improved daily life contentment and well-being.
