French teachers in Canada who are not native speakers themselves may feel an insecurity towards teaching french because of fear of not being what Meike Wernicke defines as not feeling “bilingual enough”. Through Ms. Wernicke’s article “LInguistic insecurity Qu’est-ce que c’est?” CPF 2020, participants will discuss the impact that linguistic insecurity is having on French teachers as well as addressing these effects.
