Dr. Roman is the Director of the Pediatric View Program at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and a former Project Leader of the CVI Project at The American Printing House for the Blind in Louisville, KY. Dr. Roman has also developed numerous excellent and informative webcasts and courses on CVI.
Dr. Roman is also a leading researcher and author in the area of Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). She provides educators and parents along with other team members working with children, with CVI, a manageable and functional approach to assessment and intervention. Her approach focuses on success for each and every child as well as a way to track and document this success. Dr. Roman will discuss and share her new research throughout the session.
