Dr. Dave Carter has been an educator for more than 40 years, having worked as a grade 6 and 7 teacher, a learning assistance teacher (grades K - 7), a school psychologist (grades K - 12), a Director of Instruction in two large B.C. school districts, and an instructor at UBC, SFU, Trinity Western and San Diego State University. Dave “semi-retired” in 2005 and continues to teach courses at the graduate level, does in-service in both Alberta and B.C. and consults to the B.C. Ministry of Education on a range of topics (including special education and ELL). He and his wife Sharon have four grown children and two grandchildren.

AllOnce you have administered the Level B Assessment, how do you analyze the results and use them to develop learning plans responsive to the learning needs of the individual student?
Dr. Dave Carter will offer this one-day session in response to requests from jurisdictions in our region for information about how to best utilize the student data gathered from Level B Assessments.
Please bring samples of student assessment data. Dr. Carter will facilitate examination and analysis of your data and support you in developing a learning plan.
