Michele Jones is the Curriculum Education consultant for the consortia. She has taught a wide variety of subjects and has taught in divisions 1, 2 and 3. She has led numerous professional learning opportunities, at the school, district level and provincial level. Michele holds a Master's of Education degree in the area of Educational Leadership. She became a certified Concept - Based Curriculum and Instruction Trainer in 2019.

This pd-on-demand session has been developed for our working professional educators who wish to reach a deep understanding about the underpinnings of Ron Ritchhart’s Creating Cultures of Thinking: 8 Cultural Forces we must master to truly transform our schools (2015)
The learning experience will include:
1. Three online meetings via Zoom (Registered Participants will be emailed the zoom link)
2. A google classroom for online discussions and reflections
How is this session pd-on-demand? The online meetings will be available to watch and respond to anytime via the Google Classroom.
They will focus on:
- discussions brought forward by participants and
- provocations for participants to work through to supplement the learning experience
