The impact of social media and technology on our wellness is both wide and deep. There are some of us who want to live completely "off grid" away from all the advances society currently offers. This workshop is not for those individuals! Join therapist and author, Deepika Mittra, to discuss alternatives and strategies that let you stay engaged with social media and technology while both acknowledging and managing the toll that being connected can take. Deepika's talks inspire attendees to become active agents in their own well-being. She has recently authored Social Media & Technology: How to Use It Without Being Consumed By It and created a game, Move Your Memory, helping families practice yoga in a playful and accessible way.

In this session you will have the opportunity to consider the good, the bad and the ugly that social media includes. You will be able to reflect on your personal usage and the impact of such on your life and relationships. Furthermore, you will leave with ideas and strategies to best manage your technology and media usage.
