Heather van Streun is the Educational Technology Consultant with Elk Island Catholic Schools. She loves sharing her love of learning and taking chances to create engaging and inquisitive learning environments. She is currently working on her Interdisciplinary Masters in Education, currently in the focus of Neuroscience and is also a Certified Google Trainer. When she isn't immersed in the Ed Tech world, she can be found on the volleyball court, behind the sewing machine, or having fun with her husband Simon, daughter Matilda and dog Frodo Barkins.

AllIn this hands on session, teachers will walk away with a solid understanding of how to use the new Google Sites to create meaningful teacher pages that can be used to communicate with students & parents, and to create learning opportunities for their students. As well, teachers will explore how to use Google Sites with their students as a digital portfolio to showcase their learning.
