Shaun Pearson, M.Sc.A, R.SLP, S-LP(C) has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for four years, with a current specialization in assistive technology. Clinically, he works with a variety of students using various forms of augmentative and alternative communication, supporting students in a wide variety of educational settings. He is familiar with high tech devices and iPads, as well as a variety of low tech and paper based options. Shaun has been a TouchChat Certified Trainer since January 2016.

This hands-on, full-day training will include:
- Review of TouchChat features and vocabularies
- Discussion of why we must use robust communication systems to support our learners
- Detailed information regarding evidence-based strategies for supporting AAC users. These include aided language input, core vocabulary, least-to-most-prompting, shared reading, and more! Participants will get hands on opportunities to practice these strategies throughout the day.
