Data reflect that a high score on the Adverse Childhood Experiences Scale will adversely affect mental health, physical health, and even lower someone's life expectancy. Within a classroom, a child with an ACEs score of 4 or more may have difficulty with self-regulation, could struggle academically despite no formal learning disability, and may even be physically ill more often than children with lower ACEs scores.

Discover what ACEs are by definition, and why a high score is so neurologically catastrophic—then examine the tenets of resiliency, and how resiliency factors, which can be implemented by many people in a child’s life, will in turn offset even the highest ACEs score.

This workshop that offers understanding, hope, and healing about a huge and sensitive topic.
