Geri Lorway is one of the major contributors to the Elementary Mathematics Professional Learning site (EMPL) project funded through Alberta Education. Her background includes 30 plus years of coaching and consulting both as a classroom teacher, district leader and now asThinking101. Her presentations are inspiring and engaging with a focus on mathematical reasoning as the missing link in school math. Alongside her day to day, in the field work with teachers, parents and coaches, she finds the time to teach math and science in the Elementary Education program, University of Alberta.
