Learning Opportunities

Ulana Soletsky was a classroom teacher for 26 years and for the past 9 years has held the position of Math Facilitator, Math Coordinator, A.I.S.I. Coordinator and most recently Numeracy Coordinator for Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools.  During the past 9 years she has also worked directly with the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium offering Professional Development in the area of Math and Numeracy.  A key component of her work involves collaboration with school administration teams and at-elbow support to K-9 teachers in the area of Math and Numeracy.   Her focus is primarily around curriculum support as well as planning for staff development and school improvement.   Ulana demonstrates passion about math education, and wants to see all students motivated and successful in mathematics and, as a result become numerate members of society.
