Michele Jones has worked in the educational field since 1996. She has taught a wide variety of subjects (inside and outside!) and has practical experience in implementing project-based learning in the classroom. She has led numerous professional learning opportunities, at the school, district level and provincial level. Michele holds a Master's of Education degree in the area of Educational Leadership. She is also a certified Google Educator. She is passionate about all things that support our Alberta student and adult learners in today’s fast-paced world.

AllTake it outside means just that! Join us for this full day workshop which takes place in the beautiful University of Alberta Botanical Gardens!
Using our backyards and local environments as learning spaces provide enormous benefits for:
- student academic performance
- development of core skills that enhance physical, mental and emotional wellbeing
- student engagement
- ethical citizenship
We’ll explore the five core principles from EarthEd and the work of Dr. David Sobel
You will have a chance to:
- engage in a variety of activities outdoors.
- learn about several resources and
- see a showcase of classroom examples of learning in Nature
