Let’s Talk Science creates and delivers unique learning programs and services that engage children, youth and educators in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

AllJoin colleagues for a full-day professional learning opportunity and participate in hands-on/minds-on strategies that will develop student's inquiry and problem-solving skills. Resources will be drawn from Let's Talk Science's IdeaPark website; a great resource for early years, kindergarten and primary grade educators with a suite of classroom-ready, skills-based resources.
You will:
- Gain hands-on/minds-on experience with free student-centered, curriculum-aligned resources for your Early Years to Grade 3 classroom.
- Explore scientific inquiries that develop students’ competencies to manage information, think critically and collaborate while refining their skills of observing, predicting, sorting and classifying, comparing and contrasting, and drawing conclusions.
- Participate in design and build challenges that support the development of students’ creativity, critical thinking and collaboration competencies as they work together to identify and solve a problem.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in meaningful discussions that support program planning in early STEM education.
