Lorna Hewson is an award-winning educator with experience at the classroom and district level, including district leadership in the area of inclusive learning. A past recipient of the Alberta Excellence in Teaching Award, Lorna’s past divisional experiences have focused upon learning support and inclusion, effective assessment and grading practices, pyramid of interventions development, curriculum implementation, coaching and mentoring teachers and inclusive practices at the classroom, school and divisional level. She is the co-founder of Jigsaw Learning, a co-author of the text Envisioning a Collaborative Response Model, and currently works with districts and schools across the province establishing Collaborative Response Model frameworks.
