Portable and mobile devices are more and more a part of our everyday life. This is true for people with disabilities as well. Apple's iOS Devices have accessibility features built-in directly to the iOS to make the user experience attainable for as many people as possible. Features include switch and motor controls, audio enhancements for the hard of hearing and screen reader solutions for the blind and visually impaired.

This is a hand-on session where you'll learn to use some of these accessibility features to assist in navigating around an iOS Device, work with documents and browse the internet. Although other features will be touched on, the main focus of this session will be on the use of VoiceOver, Apple's built-in screen reader.

This is a full day session designed to assist Teachers, Educational Assistants, Vision Specialists, Caregivers with the use of VoiceOver on an Apple iDevice.
