Michele Jones has been an educator for over 20 years. Prior to joining the consortium, she worked as an instructional coach with Blackgold Regional Schools, where she had opportunities to work with several pre-K and Kindergarten teachers. Michele has her masters in Educational Leadership. Michele is currently the lead consultant for Curriculum Development, Curriculum Implementation. Last year Michele was also a part of the Early Learning community of practice for district leaders.
Christine Quong is on secondment as an Educational Technology Consultant to the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium. Prior to this, she served as a Collaborative Lead Teacher for Pembina Hills Public Schools where she facilitated and led the professional collaborations among teachers and supported their application of universal design for learning and differentiated instruction. Her 11 years of experience as an educator has been teaching primarily K-6. She recently completed her Master’s of Education in Educational Technology at the University of Alberta and is a Level 1 & 2 Google Certified Educator.
Kelly Raypold has worked with Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools for the past 16 years as an elementary teacher and Learning Support Facilitator. Currently, Kelly is teaching Pre-Kindergarten. Kelly is passionate about early childhood education, developmentally appropriate practice and creating opportunities for children to learn through play and inquiry.
