AllThe Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium (ERLC) is hosting a ½ year Instructional Coaching Cohort. Coaches will meet monthly to engage in personal professional learning that includes professional dialogue, networking and reflection.
The goals of this project are to:
- Engage in discussions how the essential conditions for successful implementation are “lived” in each individual coach’s context.
- Explore research related to the instructional coaching role; connect research to your own practice; and reflect on implications for your work as leader in your school.
Details
- The series will begin with a half day orientation session.
- At each session, you will engage in professional learning opportunities to review current research; share artifacts, discuss/reflect on implications for your work as an instructional coach.
You should attend with the understanding that this will be a working group. You will need to come with your materials and a fully charged laptop at every session in order to maximize the opportunity for learning. You will be expected to co-create the knowledge and opportunities for skill transfer into your own workplace.
