Join accredited music therapist and elementary music educator in an interactive and participatory workshop that focuses on First Nations songs and traditional teachings in songs and games. Sherryl uses the hand drum in her work with students and now uses the drum in her music therapy work in spiritual healing. This workshop will focus on learning drum, rattle, and stick songs in the oral tradition-style and the importance of First Nations content into the classroom. Some traditional-based games will also be incorporated into the workshop.
