Michele Jones is on secondment from Black Gold Regional Schools. Michele has worked in the educational field since 1996. She recently completed a year as a full time instructional coach, working primarily with beginning teachers. She has taught a wide variety of subjects, in divisions 1, 2 and 3. She has led numerous professional learning opportunities, such as ‘peer walk-throughs’ and the cross-curricular competencies sessions at the school level. She was an AISI lead teacher for 5 years and has been a Health Champion lead teacher since 2007. Michele holds a Masters of Education degree in the area of Educational Leadership. She is also a certified Google Educator. She is passionate about all things that support our Alberta student and adult learners in today’s fast paced world.

Science Organizations and Community Stakeholders Curriculum Face to Face Validation Session

AllAs part of the validation process, Alberta Education will conduct an online provincial curriculum survey to enable the review of draft subject introductions and draft scope and sequences (essential understandings, guiding questions, concepts and procedures), in English and French, on the Alberta Education website.
The Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium will once again organize and lead face-to-face sessions for teachers not able to participate in the focus groups, local organizations and community members in the ERLC zone 3 region. These sessions will allow participants to discuss questions in the online provincial curriculum survey.
