Oki, Shirley Hill (Anatsipi’kssaakii – Pretty Sound Bird Woman) is a Fancy Shalw Dancer. She is the daughter of Kurt Hill and the late Rosa Ross. Her father is originally from Frankfurt, Germany and her late mom was from Siksika Nation. Shirley has a beautiful daughter and a fourteen year old grandson.
Shirley has been dancing for over 35 years. Shirley loves to teach fancy shawl dance, teach beading class and craft-making. Shirley received the Dreamcatcher Scholarship as a graduate of the Child and Youth Care Program (Grant MacEwan Community College). Shirley loves to inspire and encourage everyone to be proud of their traditions.
