Natalia Rohatyn-Martin is a PhD Candidate in Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta. She is interested in the experiences of students who are D/HH in inclusive schools, professional development (PD) of elementary and secondary teachers, particularly in Deaf Education, and the impact of fatigue on students who are D/HH.
She is also a sessional instructor and research assistant in the Minerva Deaf Research Lab (MDRL) and WCCDS at the university.
Being a certified Elementary Teacher in Ontario, and having previously taught, providing students with the best possible education is her passion. Past research has focused on measuring the psychometric properties of the measures of teacher professional development, as well as student attachment style towards teachers, as a function of perception of support.
