Andrea Jewers started her career as a sign language interpreter in the school system in Nova Scotia. After moving to Calgary, Andrea found Renfrew Educational Services and has been with the agency for 15 years. In that time she has worked as a Child Development Facilitator, Therapy Assistant for SLP, OT, and PT, and as an Assistive Technology Assistant. Andrea has been working with Assistive Technology for 9 years, supporting children ages 3-12. She is able to program a wide variety of communication devices and has developed many low-mid tech communication options for children. Andrea has been a TouchChat Certified Trainer since January 2016.
Jenna Meers is a speech-language pathologist working with students in the Calgary area in a variety of schools. She works with students, classrooms, and families to support communication development in a variety of modalities, including the use of assistive technology. Jenna has worked with students who demonstrate a variety of communication needs, and is familiar with a variety high- and low-tech communication options. Jenna is a certified Touchchat trainer.
