Jennifer Manley, MS, CED is CID’s associate coordinator of professional development. She has been a member of the CID teaching staff since 2003, working with children ages 3–12. She is the co-author of CID SPICE for Life, a real-world auditory learning curriculum. She received her Master of Science in Speech and Hearing, emphasis in Education of the Hearing Impaired, from Washington University in 2003. She has presented workshops on auditory learning at CID and at international conferences of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She is a recipient of an Oberkotter Foundation Scholarship and a member of the Division for Communicative Disabilities and Deafness, Council for Exceptional Children.

AllThis introductory webinar is designed for speech-language pathologists, teachers of the deaf and audiologists to capitalize on auditory information made available to students with cochlear implants and/or hearing aids.
It will focus on research-based practices for auditory training and recommended procedures using the Central Institute for the Deaf (CID) Speech Perception Instructional Curriculum and Evaluation (SPICE) to build a foundation for auditory skill development.
