Siobhan Murphy is on secondment at the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium, working primarily in the area of literacy. Her past teaching experience includes teaching at the elementary and junior high levels. Siobhan completed her Master's degree in education at the University of Alberta focusing her research project on assessment for learning best practices, in particular how rubrics can improve student writing.
Ann Gardner has been an educator for over 33 years within the context of students with complex needs. Her extensive teaching career took place at all age/grade levels and in specialized classes. It included work as a classroom teacher, consultant, teacher mentor, large school system roles and provincial secondment.
Ann’s creativity and beliefs provided opportunities for ALL to be involved, work and learn in their school community. Ann degrees to the Masters level include focuses on: students with significant physical and cognitive challenges, literacy, early learning, rehabilitation and education for the visually impaired.
