Learning Opportunities

Embark on a journey of creating a digital learning environment in a secondary shared one-to-one iPad math class to effectively deliver a 4-part, task based math lesson with the aim of promoting students doing math rather than simply copying math.

This session will focus on making math tasks contextual, visual and concrete to leverage the natural curiosity of our students through the use of chromebooks, iPhones/smartphones and iPads.

You will walk away with ready-made contextual math tasks to use in your class tomorrow and the confidence to begin building your own for sharing to the global mathematics community.
