Multiple Non-Traditional Timetabling and Offerings Via On/Off Campus for Student Opportunities
Warburg School in conjunction with Central Office and Neighboring High Schools offer a variety of opportunities for Junior and Senior High Students. Come visit to see how we incorporate Flex classes, 3 School CTS, VC and Online classes with a teacher at the school, Enhancement at Jr. High, Credit recovery, and cycling. Adjustments were constantly made to meet student needs over the last 2 years!

High School Completion High School Redesign School Culture and Climate
You will leave with a deeper understanding of our Personalized Development Time model (formerly flex block), and our Teacher Advisory model. As well, we will discuss how we maintain an exceptional High School Completion rate through strategies that include alternate course delivery methods offered in our Success Centre. The talk-through will include a tour so you can see how we are transforming our physical space to match our vision ultimately helping top shape our school climate and culture. The tour will take place during our PDT block, which will allow participants the opportunity to see our flexible programming in action.

Topics are new initiatives started at Archbishop MacDonald High School (PLT, Mastery learning assessment, experiential learning) and the challenges/successes surrounding these changes.

Lillian Osborne equally prioritizes the academic and emotional needs of students by offering a variety of flexible learning environments. Our out-of-schedule tutorials provide students unique opportunities to meet with teachers who address specific learning styles and curricular outcomes. School staff, in collaboration with mental health agencies throughout the city, address the depth and breadth of our dynamic student population giving the requisite skills for success in the classroom.
