The Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) curriculum is an opportunity for teachers to apply the design thinking process to develop high interest, challenge based courses.  Alberta Learning has given teachers a great deal of latitude to create classes that engage and motivate students through real world, hands on projects and experiences. This session will help you prepare for the CTF curriculum implementation and by the end of the session you will have developed a complete CTF challenge in your area.

This day long session will:

  • explore the key ideas guiding the CTF curriculum

  • developing CTF challenges that engage students

  • assessment and CTF challenges

  • work, connect and collaborate with other CTF teachers
