Do you have a student that can understand the content being taught but can’t read the text? Or a student who has lots of great ideas and understands what they have learned but can’t get their thoughts down on paper? In today’s classrooms, a wide range of technologies are creating new options for differentiated instruction and for the inclusion of students with disabilities.

This learning opportunity will introduce you to text-to-speech, word prediction, speech recognition and visual learning tools and how the flexible use of these technologies can reduce barriers to learning and support literacy learning and the success of students at risk.
