Grade Levels
AllIn addition to administering and scoring "Level B" tests (including standardized tests of reading, arithmetic, and spelling), Learning Assistants, Learner Support, Resource, and other specialist teachers often receive assessment reports and test results from other professionals.
These reports may include results from Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational or Physiotherapists, Augmentative Communication Specialists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and other medical professional.
In these "extended sessions", we will consider the kinds of reports that may be received, and the various types of test results. We will examine how they may be interpreted by the professionals who administered them, and how such results can be used to inform appropriate educational decision-making. A discussion of commonly used tests and the types of scores they generate will be made, as will an overview of the technical terms often used in reports.
