Connie Twin is a Cree language curriculum writer/developer. She has serviced and ran workshops on Cree language structure and grammar in SRO for divisional Cree language teachers.
She is a member of Bigstone Cree Nation in Wabasca, Alberta and have a B.A in Native Studies and a B.ED. She is currently a Master of Arts in Indigenous Languages second year student in Blue Quills and has been involved with and teaching Cree for the past 25 years.
She has extensive experience working with many northern communities, Provincial Governments and Aboriginal organizations. She has been writing, modifying Cree Immersion resources in SRO-Standard Roman Orthography for Nursery (k4) Kindergarten, and Grade 1 working in the direction of having a Cree Immersion program.
