The Nancibell® Visualizing and Verbalizing® (V/V®) program develops concept imagery for both oral and written language. Through a series of steps, students learn to create an imaged gestalt and integrate that imagery with language as a basis for language comprehension and thinking.

The two-day Visualizing and Verbalizing® (V/V®) workshop focuses on helping students develop concept imagery for both oral and written language. Through a series of steps, V/V students learn to create an imaged gestalt and to integrate that imagery with language as a basis for language comprehension and thinking. All steps of the program are introduced, practiced, and modeled.

LEARN STEPS TO DEVELOP:

  • Reading comprehension
  • Oral language comprehension
  • Oral language expression
  • Written language expression
  • Following directions
  • Vocabulary

WORKSHOP PROVIDES:

  • Instruction in the steps of V/V®
  • Videos of student-instructor interactions
  • Guided practice sessions
