Sandra Gluth is an educator with many years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs. Prior to joining Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium, Sandra was on secondment to Alberta Education as a Curriculum Manager in Inclusive Education. Sandra also worked as a learning technologies consultant with Edmonton Public Schools where she was able to combine her passion for teaching and learning with using technologies to support literacy learning and the success of all students, including those with diverse learning needs.

AllThe Alberta Learning and Technology Policy Framework (2013) is designed to serve as a policy development guide that will enable K-12 school authorities to achieve the vision of innovative and effective use of technology. The framework sets five interdependent policy directions, including Policy Direction 1: Student-Centred Learning.
This full day workshop will focus on using technology to support student-centred, personalized, authentic learning for all students. You will be provided with practical ideas and strategies to support diverse student learning needs and to engage students in authentic real-world learning, where students investigate important questions, construct knowledge and apply their learning outside of the classroom.
