Grade Levels

The education world is abuzz with RTI, and many school districts are implementing a variety of approaches. Important questions are:

  • How do SLPs fit into the various RTI frameworks?
  • How can SLPs and teachers work together to meet the needs of all students in language and literacy within RTI?

This workshop is designed to explore significant roles of SLPs in partnership with teachers to facilitate success of all students across grade levels. You will analyze specific activities for engaging in RTI processes across all tiers and discuss the pitfalls to avoid. Evidence based practices around which SLPs and teachers can collaborate in instruction and progress monitoring will be highlighted.

SLPs are encouraged to attend with at least one teacher.
