There will be structured professional dialogue, classroom observations, as well as the opportunity to engage in planning.

K-3, 4-6Join the division three staff at A. Blair McPherson School to deepen your understanding of how to integrate numeracy/mathematics into inquiry/project based learning within the division three context. Classes at A. Blair McPherson include a high percentage of English Language Learners and special needs students.
During the morning, teachers and students will invite you into their classrooms to see mathematics/numeracy focused inquiry/project based learning in action and how this approach can support ALL learners.
During the afternoon, teachers will share:
- how they plan for collective inquiry, using the Alberta Education “Focus on Inquiry” document
- resources, community mentors/partners, and
- assessment practices
- scheduling classes
- successes and challenges
- respond to your questions
Be prepared to engage in professional dialogue and collaborative work with new colleagues.
