AllThis interactive one day workshop will engage you in exploring the new Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) program that will be in schools in September 2015.
The purpose for this session is to have time together to explore the new Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) program that will be in schools in September 2015.
We will consider steps to be taken in the next few months to successfully implement CTF in schools and to plan for fidelity across the district.
We will consider some of the following questions:
- What does the new CTF curriculum consist of and how is it different from previous curriculum?
- What shifts/adaptations will teachers need to make to their present course/s to meet the new Programs of Study for CTF?
- What instructional practices, such as the creation of challenges, be used to address the CTF learning outcomes?
- How will the CTF learning outcomes be assessed?
