AllIn this interactive and engaging professional learning experience, you will be studying various universally designed instructional practices, using many online and google-based resources to create a positive atmosphere to empower our student readers and writers. Opportunities to consume, collaborate and create will be part of the whole workshop. Time will also be given to look at Chrome apps, extensions and add-ons that can be used at specific grade levels. Be prepared to learn as a group and reflect individually on the topic. Throughout the day, connections will be made to show how easily one can implement this straight into the classroom. As well, an extensive list of resources and instructional practices will be made available.
You will see the connection of this learning to the following competencies:

- Support students to identify and solve complex problems when researching and studying
- Find ways to manage the large amounts of information as part of the learning process
- Show innovative ways for students to demonstrate their learning
- Create opportunities that allow students to participate at their level
