Wondering how to develop number sense in your students? What strategies work best for increasing student fluency with math facts and operations? How can you create a math culture that nurtures numeracy and motivates students?

This session will provide you with easy to implement strategies for helping students deepen their understanding of number and number relationships, increase their fluency with basic facts and promote competency with number operations. The use of children’s literature, open number lines and strategy games will be incorporated into the session.

This is a hands-on session where you will participate in activities to enhance your understanding of the strategies presented.
