Why should I attend?

To make a sustainable positive impact in the lives of children and youth.

Children and youth are impacted by drugs, alcohol, suicidal ideation, bullying, and other issues that affect them and the community at large. Caring and connected adults play a key role in the ability of kids to avoid these problems and bounce back from them. During the Academy, you’ll learn and practice ways to look at each student through a “full-color lens,” recognizing, appreciating, and amplifying their unique qualities and potential. You'll gain the skills and tools to help kids flourish.

Three sessions scaffold and prepare you to work alongside teens to amplify their strengths and self-activate their developmental ecologies. The Student Support Card™ (the "other side of the report card") is a framework and measure of a student’s developmental ecology that can be used to reduce suicide, bullying, drugs, alcohol, violence and increase civility and student success.

  • Phase 1: Induction into the Student Support Card
  • Phase 2: Deepening Student Support Card Principles & Practices
  • Phase 3: Coaching Youth to Amplify Their Developmental Ecologies
