AllAs parents, you understand more than anyone else how your child learns and processes information. There are many ways that you can advocate for your child’s success in school.
This collaborative learning opportunity “Understanding My Child’s School” promotes understanding of:
Laying the foundation of parenting
- Traditional— Parent or elder to teach about child rearing i.e., Cree Moss Bag teachings
Community Participation
- Becoming involved in school council
- School governance-policies & procedures
Ability & Responsibility of parents
- Support—Ways of success
