Lesley Xu
Leslie is a registered psychologist and brings a decade of experience supporting mental health of children, youth, adults, and families. She has worked extensively in school settings, providing services to students, teachers, staff, and parents navigating a range of mental health concerns. In addition, she has experience across non-profit organizations and private practice, offering both counselling and psychological assessments. Her work with high-risk youth facing complex challenges, as well as neurodiverse individuals seeking appropriate and accessible support, has further shaped her commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
Sue MacLean
Early Childhood Educator and the Executive Director of Alder Academy Early Learning Society, Sue has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Prince Edward Island and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Sue is passionate about supporting young children and understands the importance of their first five years. Sue is a strong advocate for children and families, and she believes it takes a village. Sue has spent the past 20 years working for Alder academy and supporting young children to become strong, confident, mighty learners.
