Assessment , at its core, power decision-making. Using assessment to both empower teachers and positively engage students can be challenging and things might feel complex when assessment holds many purposes. Sometimes, despite best intentions and dedicated work, assessment processes feel like too much effort for too little gain.
When assessment (and learning) cultures are healthy, the design, analysis and response to assessment evidence enables both teachers and students to advance learning in the best ways possible. Participants will be invited to explore practical ways to create healthy cultures of assessment in classrooms and schools.
