Learning Opportunities

Cammie Kannekens presents internationally about edtech and AI and is currently in her 8th year as a District Instructional Lead in for Prairie Rose School District in southern Alberta where she works to integrate technology and innovation with rural sustainability. Before that, she spent 20 years in grade 7-12 classes as an English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. She has her Masters in Educational Leadership and also teaches an MHC EdTech course for pre-service teachers. Cammie enjoys growing her professional learning community and loves learning about AI in vibrant learning groups such as Google Champions (Innovator, Trainer, Coach) and Microsoft Innovative Education Experts. She loves presenting about Education Technology such as at ISTE, as an EdTech trainer across Canada with Logics Academy, in Africa, and in her own district and province.
