Alberta’s new K-6 Science curriculum is full of wonderful opportunities to integrate technology with our students. But, where to start? This workshop will explore a variety of tech tools and resources that can be used to engage students in student-led learning, foster critical thinking, and develop problem-solving skills.

You will learn how to:

  • Leverage online simulations and virtual labs to conduct experiments and
    investigations.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and visualize data.
  • Integrate coding and robotics into science lessons.
  • Utilize educational apps and websites to support science learning.
  • Assess student understanding using digital tools and platforms.

By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate technology into your science classroom, empowering your students to become confident and skilled scientists.
