Learning Opportunities

Renée Michaud est consultante en mathématiques. Elle offre des formations en français et en anglais dans l’ouest canadien et au-delà en présentiel et distanciel. Elle présente régulièrement des ateliers pratico-pratiques aux différents congrès annuels d’enseignants de l’Alberta, de la Colombie-Britannique tel qu’à APPIPC et nationalement à ACPI. Renée est devenue consultante en 2007 après avoir œuvré maintes années comme enseignante en immersion française à Calgary. Renée est une instructrice Gizmos certifiée auprès d’ExploreLearning.

Renée Michaud has been a certified Gizmos instructor for several years.  She has been doing contractual work with ExploreLearning since the fall of 2022.  Renée also works as a math consultant with multiple school districts in Western Canada in both English and French. She received her undergraduate and her graduate degrees at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Siobhan Murphy is the Planning & Implementation Manager for Literacy for Pearson Canada. She has been in the field of education for 20 years, including teaching at the elementary and junior high levels, as a district lead literacy teacher and on secondment at the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium as a literacy consultant. Siobhan is passionate about all things literacy. She completed her Master's degree in education at the University of Alberta focusing her research on assessment for learning in elementary writing.
