This session will guide teachers through a classroom example of teaching and assessing how the purpose of an object will influence the choice of materials used.  Teachers will learn how to plan, teach and assess an investigation to help build student understanding. As well, learn to identify opportunities to integrate ELAL and Math to make your science lessons more robust.  Walk away with resources you can use in your classroom.
