Level up your knowledge of sensory systems, regulation, and the stress response network through this series of sessions focused on somatic embodiment for the classroom. Somatic work helps us access additional pathways to learning and regulation by focusing attention on body awareness as the primary agent. Embodiment is learned through reflective awareness of sensations through three sensory feedback systems - exteroception, proprioception, and interoception. Participants will leave these sessions with a greater understanding of sensory components of learning, co-regulation and polyvagal theory. This knowledge will then be discussed as tools to directly use in the classroom setting.
