This session will focus on the Organizing Idea: Algebra , specifically looking at the understanding of the
Learning Outcome: Students represent and apply equality in multiple ways.  These initial sessions for grade 4 will focus on teacher understanding of the changes, key vocabulary, and how the Knowledge, Understandings, Skills and Procedures work together to help bring understanding to the learning outcome.  Specific strategies for learning and teaching as well as support resources will be shared as part of the
learning.
