This session is a continuation of an earlier presentation As science teachers, it is helpful to understand how you engage with the texts (paper or multimodal) you encounter. By having this understanding, you have more tools needed to more effectively assist your students to think as scientists. In this session, you will be given an opportunity to become more cognizant of
the thinking you - as science teacher - use as you engage with various texts. With this new metacognition, we can add to your lessons to improve student science thinking and application.
